About Us

Sarah Munday

Coastline Speech Therapy and Voice Clinic was founded by Sarah Munday, M.A. CCC-SLP. She is currently licensed in the state of California to practice Speech-Language Pathology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz earning a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at San Jose State University in 2012, where she completed clinical practicums in public schools, inpatient hospital settings, sub-acute rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities.

Sarah has over 10 years of clinical experience working with infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults. She has previous experience in small private practice settings as well as large medical facilities. Prior to starting her own practice, Sarah worked at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara in the Rehabilitation Services Department for 9 years providing pediatric speech and language services for children 0-21 years of age.  She provided evaluations, individual and group treatment, led classes for parents and specialized in voice therapy for Exercise-Induced Laryngeal Obstruction(EILO), gender affirming care, vocal fold paresis, and Muscle Tension Dysphonia.

Sarah has advanced training in gender affirming voice care, Autism, and early communication intervention. She holds current teaching certifications through the Hanen Centre as well as ongoing trainings in voice evaluation and treatment.

When not helping clients, Sarah spends time with her husband and two children. They can often be found at the beach, in the forest, on a bike ride, or baking something in the kitchen.
